Request: Mounting ISOs for BABIES

I understand the concept of ISOs, and how they're related to Disks, and how false drivers work in theory, etc etc. But what I've failed to grasp is the actual freaking PROCEDURE, I've tried a couple of ISO programs in the past, and my computer has been stuck with this:

So. I have an ISO file, and lets say that's all I have. Give me a step-by-step of what programs to download, where I can find them, and how I use them. Please and thank you. Screenshots appreciated.

without knowing what exactly, you did i cant give you more details's on how to fix that, with that said if you get that fixed i got a program that will add a single 'virtutal' drive to your machine and works just great

that said i cant really give it to you, if all your drive letters are taken up with that abomination

However avoid all the bull shit it tries to install along with itself.

I'll walk you through it today or tomorrow on vent.

if you get daemon tools... get daemon tools LITE

download the lite version

-Run the program, it will ask you to reboot before install
-reboot
-it will continue installing after reboot
-follow prompts, next, next, finish
-reboot again

In yoru system tray (near clock) you will have a little icon with a lightning bolt in the center, you'll also notice you have a new "CDrom" drive under my computer.

Right click that lightning bolt icon, select mount image, select the emulated cd rom drive that it installed. It should open up windows explorer and ask you to select the image file.

Point to the iso you want to mount, click ok

Open up my computer, that new cdrom drive should now be loaded and you can access files on the iso

You can enable emulation through daemon tools to emulate copy protection if needed

So I download Daemon tools, right.

And the interface is 100% different from last time I used, minus color scheme, logo and maybe the general appearance of that right-click menu.

GOD it makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE then it did last time!!
