I'm bored right now, so I thought I'd make a topic about how everyone came up with their names.
Also, when did you come up with your names?

For me, I've been going by the name "Kazagin" for close to 5 years now. (Since I was 11, for anyone that cares.)
Anyway, I was signing up for Runescape (before I was smart enough to realize that it sucks, a week later) and I needed a "cool-sounding" name. Considering that Yu-gi-oh was also cool when I was 11, I had a bunch of cards. One particular card was my favorite.
(Backstory on why this card was my favorite)
You see, I had accidentally left my deck inside the pants of my jeans. They got washed and I was sad.
To calm me down, my mom went to the 7/11 (that's where most of us bought our cards) and bought me a few packs. Most of them sucked, but one didn't. It was the Kazejin card (one of the three guys that made Gate Guardian). Me, being overjoyed that I got such an awesome card, made it my favorite.

So, yeah, my name is the result of me signing up for an awful game, playing a pretty cool card game, not remembering how to spell a card's name, and forgetting to empty my pockets one day.
(DISCLAIMER: I wasn't able to realize that Runescape was awful until a week after I signed up, I don't play Yu-gi-oh anymore, and I'm not the best speller.)

Marowak- The Pokémon of course. I was also part of the PKMN clan for TF2 and I chose Marowak because Cubone was taken >_>.

But seriously, I read the Name Lord Pudly in a book when I was 12. I didn't know what it meant, but it sounded cool.

I usually went by other names like Sir Roderick or Horsepower, Then I got TF2 and was like "I said to self"SELF, THIS GAME IS AWESOME AND BASIS FOR STRONG SOVIET REPUBLIC, GET A NEW NAME"". So I used the name Lord Pudly. Then I played on the BSM 24/7 2FORT ALL CRITS server, and found these RW kids playing BSM in a Clan match. RW needed one more for a full team, The rest is history.

Part of last name. Weis-ensee. The Weis. It was supposed to be like The Woz, Steve Wozniak's (Co-creator of apple computers) nickname. But nobody got the reference even when I explained it to them. So I just let myself be original The Weis. But "The" is so lame that people droped it off. So then I was just Weis.

I was also in that Pokemon clan with Marowak for awhile and I was Krabby.

For a long time (read xbox live) I went by worthlesz. It was fun getting made fun of, then hunting down the little f'er.

So I started out with a completely different Alias back when I was younger, then just a year or so ago I made a sudden switch.

In the making of my sudden switch, I was still playing the Bass; and was at the peak of my playing it, realistically. So I go to make new accounts on anything I could with my new name: GreenBass. (Favorite color is green.)

As it turns out, AIM was the first thing I made a new account on.
*types in GreenBass*
USERNAME TAKEN.
Damn.
*sits at computer for a couple seconds, thinking of a way to still have an original greenbass without using goddamn numbers*

*hits the G key*

AND THUS, THE POWERPU- ERR, I MEAN GGreenBass WAS BORN!!

Okay so my name is Andrew Hammond.
Those who have added me on facebook would know this.
So at my church we have these like, disposable sticky name tags that you can rip up.
So my mate started ripping up and creating new names for people.
Mine ended up as becoming - Andax Hambert.
I thought it was pretty cool and rolled with the name ever since! =D.

Kihls.... uh, sort of not much to explain.. I had a twink ranger in eq2 years ago who was a female gnome, top ranked for tier with a kdr of like 100:1.. I've used many handles, this one got chosen by chance. Others including Autopsy, Cabbot, Ceylon, Sonarius, Coza, Ceilona, Rhidik, and Carivok. I just noticed I seem to have a pattern for C/K names...woo.

Augury Engine was the name of my electronic band I headed for awhile.
For the most part it was a one man show, but actually Raymk was my partner in crime for awhile and helped me out some.

As retarded as it may seems, my name is just Reply mispelled. Really. I was in front of the Warcraft 3 creation account... told myself NOW it's a good time for a name... ended with reply mispelled. fail, but I kinda like my fail.

Lildobber is actually stolen from my friend, he is the original LilDobber13, and I was letting him use my steam account forever. I logged on one day just to dick around with TF2 and started playing on this all arena server. Mojo liked me and invited me to vent, by that time it was to late to switch from Lildobber, so now I am a doppleganger.

My orginal name that I went by, witch is why you see it pop up here and their is Mahuloq. I have never had that taken, on anything ive ever signed up for, EVER, and if it is I know I already have an account where im trying to sign up so I just guess my password. It originated from trying to have an alien sounding name for this really old game kinda like neopets, Alien Adoption Agency. I also use to go by Lunchbox or SirLunchbox

Wow, some really interesting stories you guys have.

In ninth grade, some friends and I made up a religion called Nism. It was also the same time I signed up for Runescape. And so the original Nism_Priest was born. Eventually, like 5 years later, I was like, I am so damn awesome, Imma call myself Nism.God. So I did. Damn, I'm so badass.
